Presentation of the second part of the book on strategic court cases that are
changing Ukraine
Library of the Cinema House
The second part of the popular compilation “Court Cases that Change Ukraine”
was published as a part of USAID project “Human Rights in Action”.
Authors have prepared the most interesting stories of ordinary persons’ court
victories in unusual cases. They prove that one person is able not only to win
a court case, but also to reach significant changes in the state system. Part of
them has led to changes in legislation; others have prevented violations of law or
international agreements. Some of them have already caused reforms; the others
are waiting for realization.
The book will be presented by advocates and NGO representatives, who have
united into the Platform for Strategic Judicial Defense, in order to enhance their
efforts in the court processings that are crucial for the society.
Moderator: Maryna Hovorukhina.
