A documentary club Close-Up is open every week at the Cinema House since last year’s October. 
Come and learn about the ambitious plans of the club, share your own ideas on the screenings 
program, and get acquainted with the project’s curators. 

 

Svitlana Zinovyeva (Ukraine), cinematographer, producer 

Born in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Graduated from Karpenko-Karyi Institute of Theater in Kyiv 
(specialization cinematographer, Suren Shabkazyan’s workshop). Worked at Odesa Fiction Films 
Studio and Kyivnaukfilm studio. Has made 7 fiction films and about 30 documentaries as a director 
of photography. 
 Member of the National Cinematographers’ 
Union of Ukraine. Since 1993, she is an independent film producer, head and founder of Inspiration Films Company.

Initiated and led with partners during 8 years the Ukrainian Co-production Workshops for Documentaries. As a producer produced about 50 documentaries, widely presented at prestigious film festivals, some of films have been awarded at FID Marseille, Krakow IFF, Molodist IFF and others.

Tetiana Kononenko (Ukraine – Germany), director
Born 1980 in Kirovograd, Ukraine, lives and works in Berlin. Graduated in Media and 
Communication in Berlin and is currently enrolled in the film directing program of German 
National Film Academy (DFFB). She has been working with video and photography in projects 
often dealing with the question of memory and history. Her documentary Keep Out premiered at the 
13th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in 2009. She was also a jury member in the 
filmschool.forum/DOK.forum, part of the Munich Documentary Film Festival, Dok.fest 2013.
