Born in Kyiv in 1992. In 2013 she graduated from the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a master’s degree in history. Since then she has continued her studies and research into the philosophy of history and Judaism. Her research is dedicated to the practice of ideology in Soviet cinematography and the history of Stalinist-era documentary films. Among her interests are the practice of ideology, political arts, visual studies, literary culture. “Documentary film is a lens without any artistic filtering; it is a continuous footage without any cutouts. It is the deadlock of the environment’s painful aesthetics together with the inability to avoid what has been seen.”
The festival pass gives access to the rich Docudays UA offline programme, namely the best documentaries from around the world and meetings with their authors. The 20th Docudays UA will take place on 2–8 June 2023.
2022 pass holders who did not use them during the Docudays UA Special Edition last year can receive a pass for the 20th festival free of charge. If the pass has been used, you can get a 50% discount.
