National human rights expert of the UN Development program, President of the Kherson Regional Foundation for Charity and Health, Board member of Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights, editor-in-chief of the public civic-political weekly newspaper “Upwards”, human rights and advocacy expert of the National Democratic Institute (USA) and UN Program in Ukraine. Journalist, screenplay-writer, author of 9 books, screen plays for fiction and documentary films. She graduated from the Kherson State Pedagogical Institute, the Moscow Literature Gorky Institute, obtained PhD-studies at the Advocacy Institute in Washington, DC and the Higher  school of Human rights in Warsaw.

Deputy Minister for Justice of Ukraine. She started her carrier as teacher of Foreign Literature, Russian and German language. In the Ministry of Justice she is working since 1995. 2001 Mrs. Lutkovska was appointed as Commissioner in charge of observance of the Convention on the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. In 2003 she was appointed as Deputy Minister for Justice of Ukraine, in 2005-2006 she worked in a private law firm, in November 2006 she returned to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine as the Deputy Minister.

Executive Director of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee (BHC). Dealing with human rights since March 2006, during the massive protest demarche against falsification of the results of Presidential elections she was member of the “tent town” in Minsk. Mrs. Gatsura worked out campaigns for protection of human interests and youth programs. From 2002 to 2004 she was editor-in-chief of the business magazine “Leader”. She graduated from the faculty of journalism at the University of Russian Education Academy (Moscow). In the age of 16 she founded a youth organization in her own provincial town and organized the work of the first call-center for psychic help for teenagers. She has two suns – Kastusya and Algerda and a daughter – Ragneda.

Adviser of the Moscow Helsinki Group (MHG) on education and networking, adviser of the Youth Sector in the Council of Europe, Honoured President of the Youth Human Rights Movement (YHRM), member of the expert council at Human Rights Commissioner in Russian Federation, trainer and lecturer on development of civic society and human rights. Author of numerous articles about development of NGOs and human rights movement in Russia and CIS. Mr. Yurov is active in human rights movement over more than 20 years.

Marta Kolomiets
Director of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. Active board member of several NGOs, including the Ukrainian Women's Fund (UWF), the Center for Ukrainian Reform Education (CURE) and the Ukrainian Children's Aid and Relief Effort (UCARE). Over the past 10 years, she has headed up a number of development projects for the US government concentrating on free and responsible media, democratic and economic reforms and anti-corruption issues. The daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, Marta Kolomiets was born and raised in Chicago. Graduated with a master's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois. In January 1991 she came to Ukraine where she established the first Western press bureau in Ukraine for The Ukrainian Weekly and later wrote for the Associated Press and Newsweek on political, cultural and religious topics.
